Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Process Technician to join our team at BioPharma Consulting JAD Group. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The successful candidate will have previous experience in GMP manufacturing, a strong understanding of measurements and calculations, and basic knowledge of the metric system.
Responsibilities:

  • Set up, clean, and sanitize manufacturing equipment.
  • Weigh out buffers/media per manufacturing procedures and SOPs. Follow GMP documents with strict adherence to safety and compliance.
  • Monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of critical processes.
  • Conduct in-process sampling and operate analytical equipment.
  • Perform parts washing, sterilization, and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Work in a clean room environment with full gowning, hairnet, gloves, and steel toe shoes.
  • Initiate and participate in quality deviation reports. Draft and revise SOPs and manufacturing procedures.
  • Review and update documentation, including equipment logs and batch records.
  • Work around high-pressure systems and move heavy equipment using powered industrial vehicles.
  • Work effectively in teams and support Lean Transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, and perform various physical movements including bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing.
  • Set up, operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform routine manufacturing tasks such as cleaning, dispensing materials, and material reconciliation.
  • Perform process, area, and equipment inspections as needed.
  • Collect samples and perform basic analysis.
  • Follow and document cGMP procedures and requirements.
  • Identify hazards, risks, and recommend mitigating actions.
  • Work with other departments and adjust tasks based on shifting priorities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing areas OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 3 years of manufacturing or operations experience.

Shift:

  • 6:45PM - 6:45AM Rotation
