At BioPharma Consulting JAD Group, we are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Process Technicians to join our team. As a Manufacturing Process Technician, you will be involved in various production activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Under general supervision, the employee will perform operations in the Manufacturing area according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on operations, including setup, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment.
- Weigh out buffers/media per defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow GMP documents (SOPs, MPs) with strict adherence to safety and compliance.
- Perform and monitor critical processes, including basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct in-process sampling of equipment and operate analytical equipment.
- Perform parts washing and sterilization activities.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Work in a clean room environment with full clean room gowning, hairnet, gloves, and steel toe shoes.
- Initiate and participate in quality deviation reports as required.
- Draft and revise documents (SOPs, MPs).
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
- Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions (equipment logs, batch records).
- Work around high-pressure systems and occasionally move heavy equipment using powered industrial vehicles.
- Be available to work various shifts (day/nights) as dictated by the production schedule.
- Work effectively in teams to complete operational tasks.
- Follow directions well and adhere to documents and policies at all times.
- Take initiative in daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Champion Lean Transformation and OE initiatives to facilitate continuous improvement in all Manufacturing areas.
- Develop relationships and connections within the Manufacturing department and with key site stakeholders.
- Support DI&B initiatives to increase inclusion, connectivity, and engagement within the team.
- Create a positive work environment through interactions with team members.
- Regularly lift up to 35lbs, push and pull objects requiring up to 50lbs of force, and work on feet for long durations.
- Perform physical movements necessary for daily functions on the production floor, including bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, walking upstairs, and standing on portable stairs or ladders up to 6 feet off the ground.
Requirements:
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Possesses good written communication skills.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Understanding of safety culture principles.
- Experience in lab environments where safety is a top priority.
- Background in batch chemicals or chemical processing is a plus.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Manufacturing related areas OR
- High school diploma/GED with 3 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience.
