Teachers On Demand, INC. is looking for passionate educators to support the children and staff at our partner K-8 Charter School in Rhode Island. Our partner charter school believes that literacy empowers each individual to have a voice, assume community responsibility, and take social action. POSITION

K-8 Substitute Teacher (2024-2025)

Schedule: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm EST Monday through Friday (excluding school holidays)

COMPENSATION

$190.00 per day, contract role

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (Must have)
• Valid teaching certification/ substitute license (Must have)
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a classroom setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and other staff members.
• Thorough understanding and expertise in the subject area being taught.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
• Experience in lesson planning and preparation.
