About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished regional sales manager to serve as VP Healthcare Sales, leading our sales team across the Eastern US region. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of excellence in sales, coupled with a genuine passion for coaching and developing sales professionals. As VP Healthcare Sales, this individual will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing the sales team, and providing coaching and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds targets.

Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Team Management:

  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to hit revenue goals and grow market presence in the region.
  • Inspire and guide the sales team to consistently surpass sales targets.
  • Manage the recruitment, training, and smooth integration of new Account Executives (AEs) as required.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve team performance and efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous growth.
  • Offer targeted training to enhance AEs' sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities, supporting their professional development.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to share best practices, deliver updates, and address challenges together, creating a supportive team environment.
  • Keep track of sales performance and deliver regular reports to senior management.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the region.
  • Identify customer needs and preferences to tailor sales strategies and solutions accordingly.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Analyze sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to capitalize on market opportunities and address challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Network and experience with Health Systems throughout the eastern United States.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and team members.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans effectively.
  • Experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time when required
