Tax Reviewer

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Tax Reviewer to join our client's team. Our client is a renowned accounting firm with a strong focus on tax services. As a Tax Reviewer, you will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of tax returns prepared by the firm's tax professionals.

In this role, you will utilize your strong tax knowledge and attention to detail to conduct comprehensive reviews of various individual and business tax returns. You will collaborate closely with the tax team to resolve any issues, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of tax preparation processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of individual and business tax returns
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Identify any errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and collaborate with the tax team to resolve them
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to enhance tax preparation processes
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Assist with tax research and analysis as needed
• Maintain proper documentation and records of reviewed tax returns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation or tax review
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
