NCG Associates is a reputable healthcare staffing agency specializing in providing top-quality nursing professionals to healthcare facilities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate T-Licensed Practical Nurse (T-LPN) to join our team. As a T-LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to travel to different locations and provide essential nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
- Assist with the implementation of patient care plans and provide basic nursing care
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients by attending to their physical and emotional needs
- Perform routine procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting samples for lab testing, and assisting with medical examinations
- Document patient information, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatments, accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and provide support and guidance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Stay updated with current healthcare practices and participate in continuous education programs
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare environments and travel to various locations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Assignment Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Pay rate: $1,360@40hrs weekly
Class/Area: Travel LPN
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 8 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Shift and Time:Morning: 3:00pm-11:30PM
License Required: LPN compact license, PA License.
Certificates Required: BLS
