Supply Chain Associate Job Description:
This position supports the Supply Chain team along with key members of our development and operations teams. Though not required, the role of Supply Chain associate should have at least one year of experience in the field, with focus in the foodservice industry a bonus!

Essential Jobs and Duties:
- Maintain proper documentation of any raw materials
- Assist in on-boarding of new suppliers and materials, including the gathering of appropriate documentation related to food safety regulations
- Coordinate orders and purchases of raw materials with various suppliers
- Research and reconcile raw material inventory variances
- Monitors raw material usage and identifies needs to meet production schedules
- Maintains professional relationships suppliers including sales and customer service representatives
- Manages periodic physical inventory of raw materials and perform reconciliation of inventory in database
- Learn the various product lines and functions of each
- Support cross-functional team members in order to meet deadlines
- Be capable of working in various work settings of the facility including laboratory, office and plant areas
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferreds
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, or related industry, preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite
- Strong interpersonal communication via in-person, phone and email
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Stable work history
- Must be able to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually in an environment with changing priorities
- Ability to manage time effectively and shift priorities as needed
Physical Demands
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Be able to withstand long periods of time on one’s feet
