Sr Cloud Engineer

ARFA Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, including architecture design, network design, security design, and implementation.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based resources on AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance.
• Implement and maintain security measures, following best practices and compliance standards.
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or related role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Hands-on experience with containerization platforms like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
