About the Role:
We are seeking a Service and Repair Technician to join our Aftermarket team. In this role, you will ensure the highest levels of service for our customers by efficiently diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing a variety of Eriez equipment. Your technical expertise will be essential in sustaining long-term customer relationships and contributing to the growth of Eriez.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and repair tasks on Eriez and competitor equipment, including but not limited to Eddy Current Separators, Suspended Electromagnets, and other industrial machinery.
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of customer equipment both in the repair center and at customer sites as needed.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via phone, email, or onsite visits when necessary.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to develop solutions and improve product offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and work completed.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations.
- Continually update your knowledge of Eriez products and industry standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in service, repair, or maintenance of industrial electrical equipment
- Electrical, mechanical, and technical ability to handle details of equipment start-up, repairs, troubleshooting and user training
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications or ability and willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and regulations, mechanical standards, OSHA, industry and Eriez safety practices or ability and willingness to learn
- Must maintain valid driver’s license and passport
- Travel up to 50% is required, including air travel, occasional overseas travel, weekends and evenings as required

Hourly starting pay:- $23/ Hr.
