Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. The Weapon Assembly Technician will work in a fast paced assembly department. Assembling firearms and related components. Ensuring quality and assisting in the distribution of finished goods. You will work with cell supervisors to read and interpret schedules and job orders to ensure on time delivery goals are met. Work with team to help improve processes, increase production capacity for the department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Must be able to work second shift Tuesday-Friday (4:20pm-2:30am)
- Build weapon assemblies and complete weapons.
- Perform quality and function tests of weapon systems.
- Test fire weapons.
- Catalog firearm information with specific focus on firearm serial numbers and product information.
- Maintain compliance with ATF and ITAR regulations.
- Read/Interpret Job Orders
- Read/Interpret Schedules.
- Count/Maintain Inventory
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Firearms familiarity (Preferred)
- Familiarity with tools and their uses.
- Have knowledge of firearm safety.
- Have knowledge of ATF and ITAR regulations. (Preferred)
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork.
- Mechanically Inclined.
- High school diploma.
