Founded in 1974 and built in an abandoned gas station in Sharon, PA, the Quaker Steak & Lube brand includes more than 30 locations in seven states across the U.S. Quaker Steak & Lube restaurants combine unique decor, including gas station memorabilia, classic cars, and motorcycles, with crave-able food and high-octane entertainment events.  Quaker Steak & Lube has won hundreds of national and international awards for its food and more than 20 wing sauces. Quaker Steak & Lube is operated and franchised by JDK Management Company - a family of hospitality and service companies since 1982.

The Retail Sauce Program Manager oversees the Sauce Division and is responsible for product distrubution, bottling, trucking, and logistics to provide a quality product to retail sauce customers. This role reports to the Area Director of Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with vendors and marketing for distribution
  • Prepares new purchase orders with accuracy
  • Coordinates all shipping emails and updates to the customer
  • Prepares and sends invoices to customers
  • Monitors inventory levels on all needed products
  • Maintains and orders all inventory and supplies as needed
  • Deals effectively with any customer issues
  • Communicates sales and trends to senior management
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • All other duties as assigned

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a warehouse and office environment

Position Type

  • This is a full-time, exempt, benefit-eligible position
  • Minimum 40 hours per week. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

Requirements

  • A High School diploma is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide sound counsel on all aspects of the business
  • Proficient technical skills, effective communication skills, and strong organizational skills are required
  • Ability to handle sensitive information, communicate with all levels of management, adhere to strict deadlines, attention to detail, and solid analytical skills are required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods
