Primary Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs focusing on quality assurance practices and patient safety.
- Conduct periodic evaluations of nursing staff to assess competency and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for quality improvements and develop strategies for addressing them.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures that enhance nursing practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the nursing team.
- Prepare educational materials and resources to support learning objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to engage nursing staff actively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to quality assurance.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Master’s Degree or higher in nursing or related field preferred.
- A minimum of three years of nursing experience, with a focus on quality assurance and staff education.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in a quality assurance role preferred.
- CPR certified.
- Proficient in the use of technology and software for training and assessment purposes.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering excellence in nursing practice.
