Full Job Description
At Cross Properties, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our team. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential communities and ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our residents. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by creating a welcoming community atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the property's operations, including leasing, maintenance, resident services, and financial performance
- Ensure that the property is well-maintained and attractive to current and prospective residents
- Oversee the leasing process, including marketing the property, screening applicants, and executing leases
- Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including rent payments, expenses, and accounts receivable/payable
- Manage the property budget and monitor expenses to maximize profitability
- Supervise the property staff, including leasing consultants, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- Stay current on market trends and implement strategies to attract and retain residents
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of property management practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficiency in property management software
- Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Property management certification is a plus
