Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all phases of North American customer projects involving traction power substation activities
- Organize and manage all tasks related to project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, and Close-Out, including cross-functional team collaboration with manufacturing facilities in Europe
- Ensure the scope of materials and services is delivered in accordance with the customer contract, including scope, cost, schedule, quality, and product performance
- Proactively coordinate and facilitate design processes, submittals, approvals, production, and delivery logistics with suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain the highest standard of self-discipline regarding accountability and constant communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, including design, submittals, approvals, production, deliveries, testing & commissioning, and the warranty period
- Develop strong working relationships with internal team members. Be open, flexible, communicative, and collaborative while proactively working towards solutions to complex situations in a team environment
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive, proven experience of 10 years or more in a traction power setting may be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree
- PMP certification (preferred) or formal project management training from an accredited institution (a plus)
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in the electrical field (e.g., power distribution, renewable energy, electrical equipment, electrical machinery, railway systems, or traction power)
- Alternatively, at least 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Electrical/Mechanical Designer in a traction power environment may be considered
- Experience in the railway industry, traction power systems, electrical substations, or electrical equipment manufacturing is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required)
- Familiarity with MS Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, etc. (preferred)
- Excellent communication and commercial skills
- Ability to lead teams and collaborate as a team player
- Strong organizational and computer skills with attention to detail
- Self-starter capable of working independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including 2–3 trips to Europe per year
- Mandatory initial training: a 2–4-week trip to Europe
Benefits
The expected annual salary range for this role is $90,0000 - $120,000 annually. The salary range provided in this job posting reflects the base compensation for this position, which is based in Bridgeville, PA. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as work location, relevant experience, education, and skill level. This range represents the company's good faith estimate of what the successful candidate might expect to earn at the time of posting. Additional forms of compensation, including bonuses, benefits, or other incentives, may also be available as part of the overall compensation package.
