Our Home, a leading plant-based snacking company in the food and beverages industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our team. As the Plant Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing facility. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful production and delivery of our high-quality plant-based snacks.

As the Plant Manager, you will play a critical role in upholding our commitment to producing products of the highest standards. You will drive operational excellence, optimize production processes, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Implement and maintain Lean manufacturing principles and practices throughout the plant
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production and quality related issues
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and minimize inventory levels
- Implement and maintain a culture of safety, fostering a safe and healthy working environment for all employees
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and champion a culture of innovation and excellence
- Ensure capital projects make the best use of company funds generating the appropriate cost ROI
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience with growth Operations to include installation of additional production lines, hiring and training of new associates and development of Leadership Team members.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of quality control systems and processes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards (e.g., FSMA, SQF, HACCP, GMPs)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
