Summary:

TalentLNX is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist to join our growing healthcare team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and managing patient prescription data, ensuring that all information is correct and compliant with industry standards. Role & Responsibilities:

- Accurately enter and maintain patient prescription information into the pharmacy management system.

- Review prescription data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting errors as necessary.

- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to verify prescription information and resolve discrepancies.

- Monitor data entry processes and suggest improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.

- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all compliance requirements and regulations.

- Generate reports as required, providing insights into data accuracy and trends within the pharmacy operations.

- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries related to prescription data in a timely manner.

- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy data management.

- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support pharmacy operations effectively.

Work Environment:

- This is a full-time, 40 hours per week opportunity which will require some on-site work to be considered and won’t be a full time remote opportunity, so living near or the ability to commute to the office worksite will be required to be considered.

- The role involves working standard business hours within a professional closed door pharmacy shipping environment.

- Company equipment will be provided to support your work duties daily.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or pharmacy-related role
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in using computer systems and data management software
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharmacy operations or healthcare data entry
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and prescription processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data trends
