Summary:
TalentLNX is looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Closed Door Pharmacist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will oversee medication management processes and ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services within a closed-door pharmacy environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Consult with healthcare providers regarding medication therapy management for optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide drug utilization reviews and assess potential drug interactions, allergies, or contraindications.
- Educate healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical care, therapeutic options, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of medications dispensed and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services and patient care.
- Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff and conduct training as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations effectively.
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week.
- The role operates in a closed-door pharmacy environment, focusing on medication management rather than direct patient interactions.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a closed-door environment
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and clinical pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor pharmacy technicians
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic pharmacy systems and pharmacy management software
- Board certification in a pharmacy specialty (e.g., BCPS, BCGP)
- Knowledge of medication therapy management practices
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Experience in quality improvement initiatives within a pharmacy
