Personal Care Assistant - Charter School

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants for students enrolled in a local charter school in Byberry, PA.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to learners who require help with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties

- Assist clients with learning differences at school

- Accompany students to classes, appointments, or outings

- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship

- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior

- Facilitate the learning process

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations

Requirements

• Earned High School Diploma/GED (Associate's preferred)
• Patience and empathy
• Driver's License
• Experience teaching, mentoring, caregiving, or tutoring
