Overview
Atlas Therapy is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team at our State College office and help support satellite offices when necessary. Our ideal candidate has a background in healthcare and/or administration, strong attention to detail with the ability to stay well-organized, excellent customer service skills, is extremely friendly and welcoming, and has excellent time management skills.

Requirements

Experience:

• Previous Healthcare Administration experience (2-year minimum)
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
• Understanding and ability to utilize electronic scheduling system
• Protecting patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Skills:

• Welcoming and attending to patients in the clinic and on the phone.
• Scheduling, collecting payments, keeping accurate records, checking patients in/out, and helping to maintain the reception area
• Maintaining effective communication with the team and ability to work in a shared space
• Following physical therapy guidelines and insurance regulations rigorously

• Must be willing to work as a team, keeping patient care on the forefront.
