Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician

Career Connections Recruiting is seeking a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician to join a leading Autism service provider in Lancaster, PA. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral interventions to children with autism and related disabilities. This rewarding part-time position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Part-time position providing 25 or more client service hours per week.
• No Evenings or Weekends:  Client Services provided Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
• Travel reimbursement includes paid travel time and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate.
• Free ABA Fieldwork Supervision opportunities available for those pursuing their BCBA or BCaBA.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior support plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct one-on-one behavioral support to students in various settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a consistent implementation of behavior strategies
• Attend trainings and meetings as required
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and boundaries

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalence

• One year experience working with children
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and be able to move freely from floor to standing and back again
• Three (3) positive professional references from current or previous employers, including at least one from a direct supervisor
• Background clearances as required by the PA Dept. of Human Services 
• Clear TB Test - valid within 3 years
