Career Connections Recruiting is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral HealthTechnician to join a leading Autism service provider in Lancaster, PA. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral interventions to children with autism and related disabilities. This rewarding part-time position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Highlights:
- $400 sign-on bonus!
- Part-time position providing 25 or more client service hours per week.
- No Evenings or Weekends: Client Services provided Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
- Travel reimbursement includes paid travel time and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate.
- Free ABA Fieldwork Supervision opportunities available for those pursuing their BCBA or BCaBA.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior support plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral support to students in various settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a consistent implementation of behavior strategies
- Attend trainings and meetings as required
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and boundaries
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field preferred)
- At least 6 months of experience working with children or individuals with autism or related disabilities preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
