Paraprofessional

West Oak Lane Charter School is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Paraprofessionals for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to teachers in the classroom working with students in various educational settings
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans and strategies
• Supervise and monitor students during instruction, recess, and other activities
• Assist with the implementation of behavior management plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Requirements:
• 60+ college credits required
• Prior experience working with students with a school setting is preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with students, teachers, and parents
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
