Position Open: FT Special Education Paraeducator, Grades K-8
Circle of Seasons Charter School, a Public Waldorf Methods School, seeks an experienced, enthusiastic
Special Education Paraeducator for the 2023-24 school year. Circle of Seasons is a public Waldorf K-8
school located on a 35-acre wooded campus, overlooking the beautiful Lehigh Valley. In close proximity
to both outdoor recreation opportunities (less than 15 miles from the Appalachian Trail and 12 miles from
local skiing), the Lehigh Valley offers robust art, music, theater, restaurant, and social amenities. An asset
to our community, Circle of Seasons offers Waldorf education in the public setting with committed
families from all over the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with children
• Knowledge of Waldorf pedagogy, methods and/or approach (preferred)
•3–5 years of experience working with students (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) • Demonstrates the ability to maintain complete confidentiality
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates organizational skills and time management skills, providing for productivity, accuracy,
and attention to detail in carrying out duties, tasks, and responsibilities with minimal supervision
Responsibilities:
• Work cooperatively with Circle of Seasons staff to deliver classroom assistance and learning
experiences to individual students or with small groups
• Work with special education teachers to deliver adapted and modified curriculum for students
• Collaborate with class teachers to facilitate inclusive learning experiences for identified learners
• Capture data and contribute to student observations as part of the IEP process
• Contribute to and assist with student record-keeping, progress monitoring, and testing
• Communicate with families/parents related to individual students
• Communicate with staff and students to build relationships
• Participate in ongoing professional development and COS classroom observation and evaluation
• Support a positive learning environment that is safe, joyful, and nurturing
Hours are 8:00 - 4:00 Monday through Friday. Meetings, open house events, and festivals outside of these
hours may require your attendance.
salary for this position is $34,500 and includes participation in the 403b retirement plan and
healthcare benefits. Salary may be adjusted for Waldorf experience and schooling beyond Bachelor’s
level study. Background clearances, physical examination and TB test will be required.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children, strong self-direction, musical and artistic
inclinations, and developed sense of themselves as educators working with children.
