About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced music producer to collaborate on their debut album. This project requires a producer who can provide comprehensive guidance and support throughout the entire album creation process. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in music production, mentorship skills, and the ability to nurture new talent. This is an ongoing, long-term project that will require periodic on-site presence in Philadelphia.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the artist through the entire album production process, from concept to final mastering
- Collaborate on song arrangement, instrumentation, and overall sound design
- Provide mentorship and support to help develop the artist's musical style and vision
- Oversee recording sessions and manage studio time efficiently
- Mix and master tracks to industry standards
Requirements
- Proven track record in music production, particularly in working with vocalists
- Extensive knowledge of current music production techniques and industry standards
- Proficiency in professional audio software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to mentor and guide new artists through the album creation process
