Valley Forge ENT is excited to announce an opening for a full time Medical Receptionist who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care and support. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that our patients feel welcomed and informed from the moment they walk through our doors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the front desk operations, assisting with patient scheduling, and handling administrative tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet patients and visitors, providing them with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Facilitate the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate patient information is recorded.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including coordinating with providers to optimize patient flow.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, addressing patient questions and directing calls as necessary.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with obtaining prior authorizations as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Prepare waiting areas and reception desks, keeping them organized and presentable.
- Support the medical team by coordinating patient care and communication.
- Perform additional administrative duties as required, such as data entry and filing paperwork.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy and professionalism in patient interactions.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork.
