Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant is a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our healthcare professionals in delivering effective treatment. Our practice specializes in diagnosing and managing conditions related to ears, nose, throat, and allergies, and as a Medical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of all ages. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing patients for examinations, obtaining medical histories, and assisting with various diagnostic tests and procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, managing appointments, and ensuring that our clinical environment is clean and well-organized. The ideal candidate will not only have clinical skills but also possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing you to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patients. 

Requirements

• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, providing support to ensure efficient and smooth clinic flow. 

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and assisting with procedures. 

• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records. 

• Assist with allergy testing, pulmonary function testing, and other diagnostic procedures. 

• Administer medications, including allergy shots, as directed by healthcare providers. 

• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment and instruments. 

• Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and self-care instructions.
