Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: ON-SITE (NOT REMOTE)

RMF Engineering, Inc is seeking is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in our York, PA office.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a skilled team of licensed professional engineers designing infrastructure systems for higher education, government, and healthcare clients.

• Perform mechanical systems design for large central cooling and heating plants inclusive of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and controls.

• Perform engineering calculations such as hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis.

• Develop mechanical construction drawings using AutoDesk Revit MEP.

• Participate in construction administration oversight (shop drawing review, site visits, and progress documentation).

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Strong teamwork, communications, and customer service skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 0-3 Years of experience in architectural, engineering, or construction related field.

• EIT certification a plus with ability to obtain PE licensure.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Autodesk Revit, Autocad experience.
