Full Job Description
The Erie Port Authority is seeking individuals for immediate hire to fill seasonal positions at Lampe Marina and Lampe Campground, as well as Maintenance positions. We have many opportunities available that range from 16-40 hours per week.
LAMPE MARINA
- Assisting in the sale of fuel and other merchandise.
- Using a cash register and credit card machine.
- Upkeep of the marina and surrounding facilities.
- General landscaping to include push mowing, string trimming, edging, and grounds clean up.
LAMPE CAMPGROUND
- Checking campers in/out.
- Using reservation software to make future reservations. Training will be provided.
- Turn over campsite in between reservations.
- Answering phone calls pertaining to reservations and general inquiries to the campground.
- General upkeep to the facilities.
- Some landscaping duties.
MAINTENANCE CREW
- General facility upkeep. Maintaining the appearance and functionality of buildings and grounds.
- Various tasks that are ever changing, some include emptying trach cans, picking up litter, mowing grass, painting, etc.
- Event set up and tear down.
- Cross training at other Port Authority operated facilities.
Requirements
- Ability to work outside, on your feet, in all types of weather.
- Driver license (Maintenance Crew only)
