Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. As an innovative company offering a wide array of products, we strive to continuously develop new technology and drive process improvement.

We are seeking a proactive Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. This role will be instrumental in leading a group of production employees in achieving production goals, ensuring quality standards are met, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment. The Manufacturing Supervisor will serve as a key link between production teams and upper management.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet fluctuating demands.
  • Lead, train, and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and competency enhancement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to address and resolve production issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, labor, and equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles of CNC machining a MUST
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
