Logistics Administrator

Kencove Farm Fence, Inc. is a leading provider of consumer goods in the agriculture industry. We specialize in manufacturing and distributing farm fencing products to customers across the country. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Administrator. In this role, you will oversee the coordination and execution of all logistics activities to ensure the smooth flow of products from our manufacturing facilities to our customers.

As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the transportation of goods, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and maintaining accurate records of inventory. You will work closely with our internal teams, including production, sales, and customer service, as well as external vendors and carriers. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers
• Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and secure transportation services
• Manage inventory levels and monitor product availability to meet customer demands
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain records of all logistics activities
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve any logistical issues
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to shipping and transportation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience in logistics operations and supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and practices
• Proficiency in using logistics software and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
