Better Minds Counseling & Services provides virtual therapy to clients in multiple states (MD, NJ, PA, and VA) and is based out of Philadelphia, PA virtually. Our goal is to provide compassionate care and support as clients work to resolve past and present issues, improve themselves, and achieve their goals.
Role Description
We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist to provide individual, couples, or group therapy to clients. This role is specifically looking for someone who has experience working with OCD. This is a remote role, and the therapist will be responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, continuing their professional development, and engage in company activities. The therapist will also be required to complete progress notes, maintain client records, attend trainings and meetings, adhere to company policies, and communicate with other healthcare professionals within the organization. We are also interested in someone who wants to further their interests and passions beyond the therapeutic session. This is a non-contractual role - meaning you get to be a part of the company!

Requirements
- Completion of Master’s degree in Counseling field (Counseling Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, etc.),
- Pennsylvania Clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC), unrestricted,
- Optional/preferred if licensed in multiple states, not required
- Experience working with OCD, anxiety disorders, and other diagnoses,
- Experience with providing therapy (individual, couples, and/or group) with adults,
- Schedule: Minimum of 10 hours per week (can work more hours), minimum of 1 evening per week,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Problem-solving skills,
- Confident and competent with technology,
- Confidential and private work-at-home space,
- Familiarity with mental health resources in Pennsylvania.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain an unlimited license in counseling field,
- Provide individual therapy,
- Provide group therapy (based on need),
- Adhere to professional and company ethics and standards,
- Adhere to regulating entities and maintaining confidentiality,
- Attendance of company meetings and consultations,
- Complete clinical assessments and progress notes up to clinical standards and submitted timely,
- Collaborate with outside agencies and stakeholders as appropriate and applicable,
- Respond to clients within 1-2 business days.
