About the Role:
We are looking for a Shipping, Receiving, and Stores Lead Man to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping, receiving, and stores functions, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures. As the leadman, you will provide guidance and support to the team and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of material flow.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and stores operations, including coordination and prioritization of tasks
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by verifying quantity and quality of materials
- Coordinate outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and regular audits
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments and resolve any issues or delays
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide effective communication and coordination with other departments to meet production and customer service goals
- Implement and improve processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Coordinate sub-contract materials
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or store’s role
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed

Hourly pay (starts from) : $23.22/hr.
