As a Human Resources Specialist (Onsite), you will be an integral part of our HR team, responsible for administering HR processes and supporting the overall HR function. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively manage various HR responsibilities and contribute to creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Experience with bi-weekly payroll processing
- Administer and monitor all LOA, FMLA, ADA and Workers compensation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general employee relations matters.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and reports.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
