Full Job Description

Symmetrio is actively recruiting an HRMS Consultant for our client, a large government organization in Philadelphia, PA. The consultant will be instrumental in leveraging Position Control to enhance and refine the organizational structure within our client’s Human Resources Management System (HRMS). This role involves identifying necessary changes to existing organizational and position data attributes, as well as optimizing business processes to support the implementation of Position Control. The consultant will also articulate the benefits of this implementation to ensure clear value for the client.

Our client currently uses Oracle E-Business Suite for HRMS and PeopleSoft for other administrative duties

Responsibilities

  • Analyze extracts of current HRMS data and sample budget workbooks
  • Create a list of business processes related to position control
  • Review existing business process documentation
  • Conduct follow-up interviews with subject matter experts as needed
  • Complete a gap analysis on the current organization structure and the implementation of Position Control
  • Provide a detailed report on the number of positions that will need to be updated to implement into a Position Control structure
  • Outline system requirements
  • Recommend steps for successful implementation
  • Identify required process changes
  • List all benefits that the client will receive from the Position Control Organization Structure
  • Review/Finalize findings and recommendations with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of domain knowledge in HRMS/HRIS/HCM
  • Experience designing and implementing position control for large complex organizations, preferably government clients
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft, particularly in the context of Pension administration
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to relate well to all kinds of people both inside and outside of the organization
  • Diplomacy and tact in building constructive and effective relationships
