The Growth Marketing Manager is a strategic hire for the Mini Melts organization – protecting the consistency of the brand’s refreshed identity and voice in all channels through thoughtful leadership and collaboration. This role will be responsible for identifying and executing against key initiatives to drive consumer engagement and sales for Mini Melts - leveraging company objectives, consumer/brand insights, channel knowledge, and trade/marketing budgets to present a directional POV to senior leadership. The Growth Marketing Manager will then be responsible for executing against the approved plans, reporting results, and meeting projected ROI and KPI targets in a test-learn-optimize environment. This critical and collaborative teammate will be expected work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects effectively, coordinating with key stakeholders, supporting agency partnerships, and meeting deadlines with a positive attitude. The Growth Marketing Manager will report to the Founder of Mini Melts, with a dotted line to Operations and will initially have 1-2 Marketing Administrative direct reports. This individual can make a significant impact on the business and will be considered for career development opportunities based on performance over time.
Responsibilities:
· Be a passionate brand advocate and builder.
· Champion the importance of brand consistency through the consumer journey.
· Create an environment that will drive consumer purchase and ensure the best brand experience possible (in-store/ on-site/ online).
· Drive shopper analytics, market competitive understanding, and brand learnings identifying actionable insights.
· Set department and business goals, key performance metrics for campaigns and the overarching brand.
· Establish reporting cadence and updates with appropriate teammates.
· Work well cross-functionally with and Sales/OPS/Accounting/Marketing.
· Engage with partner marketing teams to gain a point-of-view on appropriate spending against partner-possible marketing activities.
· Execute and optimize campaigns to budget while maximizing return on investment (ROI).
· Own the evolution of shopper marketing toolkits, including the shopper marketing Strategy, financial plan, brand guidelines, and media framework for activations.
· Work collaboratively and cross functionally with key stakeholders at Mini Melts and with agency partners as needed.
· Be a challenge-lover, complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of business priorities.
· Be a creative marketer who looks for simple and effective solutions to shopper needs and problems.
· Be familiar with digital marketing best-in-class practices, meeting the consumer where they are via social, SMS/MMS, programmatic, SEO/SEM, paid and programmatic efforts.
· Support trade marketing efforts including but not limited to trade shows.
· Be a team player, be prepared to chip in as needed on other marketing related efforts.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing, or other related field OR equivalent experience.
· 3-5 years in marketing/sales with growth CPG brand(s), including management of channel/retail programs and digital marketing efforts.
• Effective leader who is curious and possesses problem-solving abilities, exceptional project management skills, initiative to drive projects forward, accountability to own responsibilities, and empathy to successfully collaborate with others.
• Proficient in budget management, ability to optimize spend efficiency and align with company objectives.
• Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and initiatives that drive value and sales for customers, consumers, and the company.
• Experience in developing and implementing shopper marketing strategies to enhance consumer engagement and drive partner channel sales. Including some knowledge of and/or willingness to learn about retailer-specific media partners (WMC, Roundel, AMC, etc) and the ever-changing retailer/partner tactics.
· Skill in optimizing campaigns to maximize return on investment and meet key performance indicators.
· Capability to develop and execute digital marketing and social influencer campaigns to boost brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present business results, provide feedback to external agencies, and lead status meetings.
· Experience in managing the creative process with agency partners.
· Ability to build and deliver compelling stories.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, NAYAX, Power BI is appreciated.
