Job Description
The Manager, FP&A will manage the annual budgeting process and monthly forecast process. Additionally, this hire will support variance analysis, expense allocations, ad hoc financial modeling of new partnerships, and investor relations reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in our fast-paced, high-growth public company environment with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to substantively contribute to departmental and Company success.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the company’s annual budgeting process
- Responsible for leading monthly forecasting process
- Supports various leaders across the organization; ability to dig into the details to obtain an understanding of key business drivers
- Build out key financial KPIs reporting
- Ensure deadlines for assigned responsibilities are consistently met
- Perform other duties as required to support the Finance and Accounting Dept
Experience/Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related business field required
- MBA or CFA preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant FP&A experience with a fast-paced, high-growth company
- Significant experience utilizing Workday’s Adaptive financial planning tool to build reports, dashboards, task lists, and financial models
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to identify key drivers and create reporting clearly focuses on most relevant takeaways
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to challenge existing practices and drive continuous process improvement
- Possess a strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline intensive environment
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Collaborative, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing needs and timelines
- Impeccable attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Logical thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information
