Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Services Assistant to join our team. This newly created position will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our wealth managers as they work with our client base. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals, gain valuable industry knowledge, and contribute to the success and growth of our clients here in beautiful Lancaster County.
Our ideal candidate for the Financial Services Assistant role will have a solid administrative and customer service background, preferably in the financial services sector. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to learn the fundamentals of financial services and grow their career.
Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to the wealth advisors and assist in managing client relationships.
· Schedule, organize and coordinate client meetings and prepare necessary documents, reports, and presentations.
· Conduct financial research, gather data, and help prepare financial plans and presentations.
· Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Process client transactions, including account openings, fund transfers, and trade execution.
· Assist in marketing and business development initiatives, including the creation of marketing materials and client communications.
· Support the team in day-to-day operations, such as managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls and emails promptly.
· Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth functioning of the office and provide support when needed.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a financial services support role
· Strong understanding of financial products, services, and procedures
· Proficient in using financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Experience with CRMs and other client management systems is preferred.
