Job Title: Environmental Nonprofit Coordinator

About Us: Shenango River Watchers, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit watershed group formed to restore and protect the environmental, scenic, and recreational attributes of the Shenango River Watershed.
Job Description:
We are immediately seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as an Environmental Nonprofit Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a multi-talented professional with strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for environmental issues and the outdoors. The position involves primary responsibility for website, social media, fundraising (including events, campaigns and donations), volunteer coordinating, donor management (individual, group and corporate) and grant funding.
Responsibilities:
- Reception and Clerical Tasks: Basic office tasks, scheduling appointments and scheduling meetings.
- Fundraising: Work with the board of directors to organize and oversee current fundraising events and campaigns and implement fundraising strategies.
- Event Planning: Plan and coordinate logistics and volunteers.
- Database Management: Maintain and update donor database and utilize database tools to analyze and report on donor engagement.
- Grant Writing: Identify potential grant opportunities and work with the grant committee to prepare proposals.
- Website and Social Media Management: Manage the organization’s website and social media platforms.
- Environmental Education and Public Outreach

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Environmental Studies, Nonprofit Management, Communications, etc.) preferred.
Experience in fundraising, event planning, and volunteer coordinating preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Database management and website administration experience.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
