PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The Data Entry Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing patient and operational data within our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Requirements
• Accurately input and update patient and operational data into electronic health records (EHR) and other databases.
• Verify data accuracy by comparing it with source documents.
• Perform regular data quality checks and make necessary corrections.
• Maintain organized records of data entries and source documents.
• Generate and distribute data reports as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Protect and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data management or healthcare administration is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficient in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems is an advantage.
