Construction Laborer

Riverview Homes, Inc is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. You will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled tradespeople, learning the ins and outs of the construction process while helping to shape the communities we serve. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with site preparation, loading and unloading materials, and performing various labor-intensive tasks as directed by foremen and supervisors. Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth to prepare for future construction activities.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Transport materials to and from job sites as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or similar labor-intensive field is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of construction terminology and processes is desirable.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow safety guidelines.
