Direct Counsel is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join a well-respected law firm in Philadelphia. This associate will be integral in handling complex commercial litigation matters, with responsibilities including drafting pleadings and motions, managing document-intensive cases, and supporting M&A dispute matters. Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience, Pennsylvania Bar admission, and proficiency in managing case workflows and junior attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive legal arguments
• Engage in client communication and consultations to understand case specifics
• Act as a mentor to junior associates, supporting their professional development
• Ensure a high standard of client service, professionalism, and attention to detail

Requirements

• 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience with document management expertise
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania with a strong academic record
• Outstanding communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
• Ability to prioritize multiple high-stakes matters in a collaborative environment
