The Client Engagement Specialist function will be to generate sales leads for the Business Development Team against a pre-defined list of target assets/products and target companies. This role will work closely with the Marketing function and Business Development team to ensure strong lead generation activity against all target assets and companies. The role will also support client out-reach prior to and during conferences.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Highly motivated and driven self-starter to progress into commercial/ sales environment
- Science/ pharma background to enable identification of correct ‘hook’ to provoke lead and ensure credibility with prospect
- Genuine passion for pharma industry and Clinigen offering with view to progress career quickly
Your role at Clinigen:
- Generate sales leads for the Business Development team against a pre-defined list of target assets and companies
- Support qualification of target assets against pre-agreed criteria
- Client outreach through social media, telephone and email
- Cold calling target people to generate introductory meetings for the BD team
- Create compelling and client specific ‘hooks’ to generate interest in Clinigen offering and secure direct client contact opportunities for BD team
- Identify target people against key target assets to ensure outreach to correct decision makers
- Utilize segmented approach based on asset opportunity and asset prioritization
- Support BD at industry conferences to drive lead generation activities where appropriate
- Work with Marketing function to ensure full coverage of target assets and companies so that when clients are ‘ready-to-buy’ they are already aware of Clinigen
- Work with Business Development function to ensure progress against leads are tracked and reported
- Create innovative ways to drive lead generation and get to target people quicker
- Work with Marketing function to ensure utilization of content direct to target assets, people and companies
- Work with internal Clinigen stakeholders to ensure utilization of existing Clinigen relationships where appropriate

- Strong networking and interpersonal skills with ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong telephone manner and selling skills
- Highly computer literate; experience operating with all Microsoft Office software
