Civil Engineer in training

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Civil Engineer In Training in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance:
• Analyze Zoning, Subdivision, and Land Development ordinances to ensure compliance.
• Interpret and adhere to Stormwater Management Ordinances.
• Design and Drafting:
• Produce feasibility sketches, site designs, and construction drawings.
• Prepare comprehensive site design and detailed drawings for civil-related improvements, covering site layout, grading, sanitary and utility layout, landscape plans, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management systems.
• Client Collaboration:
• Determine clients' project requirements and goals, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and regulations.
• Coordination:
• Coordinate civil design plans with input from other project disciplines.
• Calculations and Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of Stormwater Management, Erosion Control, and other design calculations and reports.
• Project Support:
• Assist project managers and engineers in scheduling, analyze design tasks, and contribute to budget management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Prior experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Land Desktop are required; Civil 3D proficiency is preferred, specifically in the creation and use of surfaces, profiles, and alignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
