Full Job Description
Our hire conducts conferences with involved parties to gather earnings and medical information then populated within Pennsylvania Child Support Enforcement System (PACSES) to recommend an appropriate amount of child and/or spousal support to be paid upon the filing of a complaint; conducts conferences when petitions are filed for increase, decrease, and termination; prepares court documents and attends court hearings; maintains oversight of cases; tracks missed payments, monitors enforcement remedies; prepares cases for court; and completes paperwork.
Requirements
Qualified candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED, although an associate degree in criminal justice, paralegal training, social work, sociology, psychology, or other directly related field is a plus; minimum of two years' related administrative experience is required; skills sought include strong customer service orientation; effective interpersonal relations and communications skills (both verbal and written); basic math skills; proofreading skills and attention to detail; experience maintaining confidentiality; experience leading, motivating, and working closely with people of all backgrounds; skills to elicit information in emotional situations; demonstrated experience setting schedules and meeting deadlines, and juggling multiple priorities; and computer literacy.
