Caregiver/ PCA

Eminence Home Care is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to provide top-quality care to our patients in Perkasie, PA. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families, while also gaining valuable experience in the healthcare industry. This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts, seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Manage and administer medications as prescribed by physicians or healthcare professionals
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to medical staff
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for patients with special dietary needs
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient care
• Follow all healthcare protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working as a caregiver or healthcare professional
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
