Caregiver/ PCA

Eminence Home Care is actively seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to fill the role of Caregiver/PCA. This position is vital in providing personal care and assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and dignity every day. As a Caregiver/PCA, your primary responsibilities will include helping clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders, as well as offering companionship and support. Our ideal candidates are not just caregivers; they are compassionate individuals who can build trust and foster a positive atmosphere for clients. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care routines, including hygiene and dressing.
• Support clients in daily living activities, such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands.
• Provide companionship and mental stimulation through conversation and activities.
• Ensure a safe living environment and help with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any concerns to supervisory staff.
• Encourage and support clients to maintain their independence as much as possible.
• Communicate with families and healthcare providers to coordinate care effectively.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving, personal care assistance, or similar roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
