Business Broker - One Source Business Solutions LLC

One Source Business Solutions LLC, part of the Smoker & Company family of companies, is seeking a Business Broker to join our team. As a Business Broker, you will be responsible for facilitating the purchase and sale of businesses that will result in revenue growth for the business unit. Our One Source Business Solutions division offers a comprehensive range of services to assist business owners with their accounting, business development, tax, real estate and business succession planning needs. With a strong focus on client satisfaction and results, we are committed to helping businesses thrive and succeed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential buyers and sellers
• Locate, screen, propose and close potential business brokerage deals
• Evaluate businesses for sale, including analyzing financial statements and performing due diligence
• Develop and maintain a network of contacts in the business community
• Negotiate and facilitate the purchase and sale of businesses
• Assist clients with business valuation and pricing strategies
• Prepare and present marketing materials and business profiles
• Provide guidance and support throughout the transaction process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Real estate experience a bonus
• 2+ years of experience in business brokerage or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) or Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI) preferred
• Experience with business valuation methods and software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
