The Body Shop Manager Trainee helps oversee the collision repair and refinishing process from start to finish and assists with hiring and supervising the technicians and support staff in this department. To ensure adequate sales volume, the manager develops business through insurance adjusters, customers, and other sources. The manager ensures compliance with industry regulations, manages finances, and ensures efficient and effective operations. The Body Shop Manager Trainee interacts with customers to address inquiries and ensures a positive customer experience. The Body Shop Manager Trainee is one of the central points of contact for all customers and staff in the collision center!


Body Shop Manager Trainee Requirements

 

-         Valid driver’s license

-         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in collision repair. Experience managing people and processes preferred.

-         ASE Master Technician Certification in Collision Repair and Refinishing preferred.

-         Maintain ICAR Gold Certification.

-         Ability to work in a team environment as well as strong oral and written communication skills.

-         Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with DRP’s.
