Position Overview:

As a Behavioral Health Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and evaluating the performance of behavioral Clinical Educators to maximize unit productivity and ensure the timely fulfillment of contract deliverables and core functions. Your responsibilities extend beyond mere supervision; you will serve as a guiding force, offering both supervision and advisory support. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of behavioral health education provided to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism (ID/A), as well as the caregivers involved in their care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to behavioral Clinical Educators, including participation in hiring, training, and staff development processes.
  • Manage the workload of behavioral Clinical Educators to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Ensure that Clinical Educators consistently meet established performance standards.
  • Offer clinical leadership and consultation to staff members to enhance their professional growth and development.
  • Conduct fieldwork for Health Care Quality Unit (HCQU) contract deliverables and core functions, including the preparation and submission of required reports.
  • Act as a liaison with the HCQU Consulting Psychiatrist and Psychologist.
  • Collaborate with the HCQU administrative team to establish unit objectives and goals, providing assistance to unit leaders as needed.
  • Facilitate the management of unit documents and training materials with a focus on behavioral health, ensuring compliance with unit processes.
  • Provide direct supervision to a team of 2 Clinical Educators.
  • Note: This list of accountabilities is not exhaustive and may be subject to expansion to include additional duties as deemed necessary by management. 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/Autism (ID/A).
  • Willingness to learn and grow as a Manager
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, assign, and follow up on tasks.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to provide technical consultation and interpret policies accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $64,947.00 base salary.

Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
