OVERVIEW
Vista provides services to children and adults living with autism in Central Pennsylvania. By using research-based techniques, we improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families. The Behavior Consultant is the behavioral lead for assigned students with autism or comparable symptomology. The Behavior Consultant addresses goals and areas of client need across campus by assessing the current needs, developing programs, monitoring the implementation of prescribed programs, and training the necessary team members. The Behavior Consultant adheres to the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis and the Behavior Analysis Certification Board’s Code of Ethics in all aspects of service delivery. The Behavior Consultant has access to supervision for those aspiring to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts and BACB approved continuing education training opportunities, clinical supervision, and the opportunity to support the development of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for those certified.
